End Girls’ Incarceration Learning Summit!
Join the Launch of Sacramento’s Community Action Network
Across California, Black, Brown, and underserved youth continue to be pushed into harmful
systems through the School-to-Prison, Child-Welfare-to-Prison, and Trafficked-to-Prison pipelines. These systems were created by policy choices—not inevitability. Together, we can dismantle them.
Community Justice Partners and Champions for Children and Youth invite you to the formal launch of Sacramento’s Community Action Network, strengthening the statewide initiative to End Girls’ Incarceration, led by the Office of Youth and Community Restoration (OYCR).
This gathering marks the beginning of a year-long effort to bring communities together to confront the realities of mass incarceration and its connections to mental health, community health, race, and poverty—and to build sustainable solutions rooted in accountability, restoration, and healing.
You’ll hear from national, state, and local leaders who are reshaping public safety and advancing equity for girls and gender-expansive youth.
Your voice, expertise, and commitment are essential. Join us as we build the future our young people deserve.
